Its really not that bad. You will have to adjust it so as to a particular song.
First figure out the bpm of the song. There are plenty of delay time calculators on the net. Find what time does it take for a bar at that bpm. Set that in as the delay duration in TLLE.
I believe there's a posibility of doing this in a more auto fashion, by using the control button assigned to delay tempo parameter (such as a tap tempo thingy) and setting the right factor in TLLE settings, but I have to study the manual a little more to figure it out. If you can set the factor so that you can tap a bar while you play your loop, I think this could work. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good. |

| ok, so you push the pedal down to capture looping and play something the length of the hold time. then you press the control button to capture the time period of the hold that just occured. then you pull the pedal up and jam away on top. if you want to lay something else into the loop you put the pedal back down and it adds on top.......but how do you start fresh again for another loop......the only way i can think of is to line up presets of the same, push the pedal down, go to a new preset of the same and start over. not bad really but wondered it theres another way? |

I figured it out. This lets you make a loop (riff) and add on top of it and jam too.
Set Delay to Hold Delay, Set the TIME on the Hold Delay to about 3300ms for starters
This is a nice length for a riff.
Set Control to Hold Delay ( Hold )
Set Expression Pedal to D/Input
Set Control Button OFF
Push the pedal forward to include the new riff in the loop
Start playing your riff. It is not recording yet. Get your riff in a nice groove and stop.
Press the control button. When you begin it will gate on and record for the Hold Delay time.
If you need more or less time, adjust it so it loops nicely.
When you turn off the control button the HOLD on the delay will release and the next loop will end.
When you get your loop going, pull the pedal back (heel down) and come up with something to add
or just jam along. When you are ready to add to the loop, press the pedal down and play.
Pull up to stop adding.
If you click off the Delay switch but leave the Control on you can click the Delay button again to turn on your loop.
Also turn Program Output level down if you hear clipping which I hear easily with looping. |
