| Got some favorite reberbs (or reverb settings) in LE? I'm kind of addicted to a little Spring in my Deluxe Amp...but that's what I started playing guitar with! The Bounce is nice with several clean amp settings too...many people have talked up the Plate reverb but I haven't found anything to use it with yet. Canyon does not seem too Canyonesque to me, but I've used Garage with some patches and it's nice in moderation. Anyone else? |

I like slap and room. Slap is great for adding ambience and make the sound fat, kinda like Jimmy's sound in Led Zepelin records. It works great when you just want to add ambience to the sound of the amp, but without actually having a smooth but noticeable tail.
Room on the other hand is more verby sounding, but controlled. Still sounds like ambience, but with a moderate tail. When i want it to stick in a busy mix, I use small times, but when the guitar is more intimate, as in a lead for a slow tempo song, a larger decay brings out the tail. I make use of the predelay when you want to kinda make the reverb tail more noticeable.
Garage, Bounce and Studio are also very nice, but haven't spend much time tweaking them yet. The first 2 (plate, room) are my fav right now.
Plate and spring sound very much like what they are emulating. My amp has a spring reverb, and this sounds very much like it.
Arena, Canyon and Hall are probably my least used, not because they're bad, but more because I don't like big reverb tails.
I'm saying this again, the reverbs in TLLE are very nice. I really wasn't expecting such sound in a guitar processor. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good. |
